Welcome to Claonairigh House B&B the oldest building in the Inveraray area. Now sympathetically restored for your comfort and enjoyment. The former Lairds house built in 1745 is set in seven acres of garden and includes a salmon river and a spectacular waterfall.
Claonairigh pronounced "CLOONERY" is gaelic for sheltered pastures and our accommodation options include a double room with four poster bed and two twin rooms.

Take the A82 North to Tarbert and then take the A83 to Inveraray. Allow one and a half hours.

What to Do
Inveraray has many interesting places to visit. Inveraray Castle, The Jail, Auchindrain Open Air Museum, The Arctic Penguin Maritime Museum, The Whisky Shop and of course there are several Woollen Shops. For the more energetic there is horse riding, Laser quest, Laser clays, Climbing wall, & Bungee trampoline at Argyll Adventure, mountain biking and the Inveraray golf course.
Within 1/2-2 hours drive. Loch Awe, Cruachan the hollow Mountain Power Station, The beautiful Cowal Peninsular, The Isle Of Bute: The Kintyre Peninsular, Campbeltown, Crinan Canal, Glen Coe, The Isles of Mull, Iona and Staffa, Oban, Stirling and the Wallace Monument, Glasgow and Loch Lomond.
